Brunch @ Vanilla Cafe

It was a rare occasion where Nat, Shilei and myself met up for brunch at Vanilla Cafe just beside Tanjong Pagar station. Not really beside but you will need to take about 8 mins walk.

12 months ago it will not be a rare occasion as we were colleagues that used to meet everyday. Currently Nat is with another firm while Shilei is jobless after pursuing her dream to study Korean in Korea.

It was a good catchup which we gave updates on each other. Before we left for the day we took some photos.Shilei and Nat. Shilei and myself.Nat and myself.Asked the waitress to take a photo of us...

Facebook Addiction

Why are some people so addicted to facebook?

They will log in and check on the postings / notifications almost every min.

Just take a train or go to any cafes you will see many people checking their Iphones etc to surf on facebook. Some will even share with the whole world where they are now.

Is it really necessary? I mean you will need to tell the whole world what you are doing / where are you now?

Let's see how long this paradigm will last...

Christmas Gift Exchange

Sunday (26th Dec 2010) was a gift exchange day with Carol and we went to PS Cafe at Dempsey again. Haha. Reached around 7pm.Ordered some food. I did not think we ordered a lot but the portion were really big.Some chicken thingy...PS fries... Very big.Chicken pasta...Some blackie cake. It's gigantic. Carol and the blackie cake.

After we finisehd our bloated dinner at Dempsey, we went Suntec to walk around before we settle down at Old Town to perform our gift exchange. At Old Town.

My gift for her...Her gift for me...Royce chocolates and 2011 customised calendar...That's all folks. One more week to the New Year!

Happy Holidays!

I just realized I have not been updating my blog for a good 2 months. Time flies and and 2010 is approaching an end. 2011 is coming in less than a week's time.

How's the year for everyone in 2010? I'm sure some had a good one while others might not have good experiences. No matter what, the most important thing is to look forward and decide what kind of changes you want to see in your life. We create our own paths!

This year was an exciting year for me especially. Ever since graduation from SIM back in 2006, life was pretty much the same, living each day smoothly without much concrete goals. This year is different as I decided to see breakthrough in various aspects. All these started after I met up with Chee Kiong in Jan 2010.

Attended the 80th Anniversary founding of SGI in SIS yesterday with my parents and it was a good feeling to be able to be part of it. The four emcess asked the audiences what are the victories we had in 2010 and I was really proud of myself to be able to have an answer to that question. Of course let's not be complacent. We have to be consistent in our practice!

Next goal will be to focus on the Chingay 2011 as it is just less than 2 months away!

Nevertheless Merry Belated Xmas and happy holidays! Cheers.

Last Sunday (03 Oct), we went to Seletar Flying Club to have dinner. It is not a very straight forward place to navigate around hence it's better to go where there is daylight unless you are very familar with that place.Seletar Air Base Carol.Sunset Grill and Pub. They are famous for their Buffalo Wings which the spice levels ranges from 1 to 10.Soup for the opening.We decided to try level 3! I was spiltting fire out!!!Mini Beef BurgersBakerzin's dessert!

Massage anyone? 1 min = $1!The gift for Adel. It was a last minute effort but i think we did well.
